To Answer your question is yes and no.

3 Have opened up the walled garden, However they have only made the walled garden bigger by including more sites.

Certain things are still excluded from when you are wap browsing.

The only networks that are not wall garden are Orange, Vodafone and 02.

T-Mobile even has some wall gardening.

I have heard on the grape vine that the wall garden my be completely lifted by summer of 2007. However this has yet to be confirmed.
