Hello
I am an application developer and we need internet access (IAP). This same IAP is needed when you use your email etc.
I am tired to explain to various people in european coutries how to set things up. The thing is that we end-users are treated really bad by GSM operators. Operators DONT want you to use email/other Internet applications because they want to CONTROL YOU!. They want to make it difficult to configurate email/chat applications so that people would use more MMS/SMS messages and they would get more money.
I think you guys in this forum are in the key position....
If someone asks you, "how to set my email/IAP" -> You should tell that "call your operator, they need to help you". Itīs very easy to get MMS settings. Just go to your operators homepage and order them. They will come in 30 sec. via a SMS message. It would need ~15 minutes from an operator to do the same for IAP settings but they are not willing to help you in this case.
Please help yourself and us by demanding better service from them! You have paid your bill to get Internet connection with full service - right?
