> Messaging accounts problem on P900
Bookmark topic
I've been browsing internet for a few hours, I've checked A LOT threads in your forum too without any luck..
The problem is, when I try to send a sms, it says "Service centre address has not been set. In Control panel, tap 'Messaging accounts' and select SMS tab to add it.". But when I go to mess. accs I can not tap SMS or Area, only Email or MMS.
Any suggestions on this one?

@justas,
Welcome to the forum. With Flip Open click on Main Menu-->Tools--> Control Panel-->Messaging-->SMS account.
Or
With Flip open, go to messaging and click on menu-->settings-->SMS account.
Hope this helps

The SMS setting should coe with the SIM. I never had to enter these.
Anyways, just tell us who is ur service provider and somebody here can reply with the proper settings.

Thanks adhussain for the welcome

Thats the problem tho, I can't choose SMS or Area setting..
@Scoitoru
I thought so too, but SIM card works on my other phones and I did copy numbers from SIM to P900 contacts.
Doubt anyone'd rly know about my operator settings, I'm from Lithuania, using Bite GSM..

I remember on my P900 that I had that issue too. All of a sudden, the SMS tab went away. Could not even look at the settings. At that time somebody said that some installed app did something wrong.
All I had to do (unfortunately) was to re-flash the phone, and after that I had the SMS working fine.
Now the other thing to keep in mind, then whenever I restored the phone settings from the backup, the SMS went away again.
So, bad news. You will have to reinstall all the apps manually after you the flash the phone.
This was my expereince, maybe somebody else figured out a different way to fix this issue ?!
