My mate has bought a W810 but is having problems with the memory card.
If he turns his phone off with his memory card out of the phone, then turns his phone back on and re-inserts his memory card the phone wont recognise it.
He then has to re-insert the memory card and leave the phone off for an hour or two and then when it is turned back on the memory card is recognised again.
Ive tried this with mine and i dont have the same problem, any suggestions?

@j-j - Tell your friend to try FORMATTING the card in is fone. I don't quite believe that FAKE Sony/Sandisk cards would easily give-in when bought NEW . . . it will take some time (months) before it will go berserk . . . unlike the original one that will last at least - 3 to 5 years !

first try to format the card! it's cheaper then buying a new one! but if it doesn't work, i think a new card will do good!

update:
ive just put the aparent dodgy memory card into my w800 and it seems to be working fine and have put my w800 card in the w810 but it still has the same error - is this is a firmware error?
and if so could it be fixed with being flashed with some new firmware or is it more terminal than that?
Edit: I have just found out that the cover has been changed on the phone so is it possible that something is either not making the connection it should or is touching something it shouldnt?
Edit2: Does anyone know where i can find a guide to taking the cover off so i can have a look?
