Only once in each 4 or 5 times I connect the phone with SEUS, it's recognized. The other times, it just turns its progress bar red and tells me to try again because it can't detect my mobile...

But when it manages to connect right, sometimes it tells me that there is no update for my phone, and sometimes it says that there is an update, and then:

- Downloads it
- Starts loading it into phone
- Goes back to start screen, where START and EXIT buttons laugh at me

There is no promt or alert or anything, and there is no log to check what the f*ck has happened...

So I can't update my phone and I don't know why!! It's so frustrating!!! I am working on this for the last 3 hours!!!

Any idea?

Tested in another PC, same results...

My mobile is a brand new Vodafone v630i, and I positively know that there is an update for it, but [when detected] it says that my mobile has the latest version of the software, or tells me that there is an update and start to install it but suddenly goes into the start screen without making anything...

Pleeeeeeeeeaaaaassseeeeeee, heeeeeeeeeeeeelp meeeeeeeeeeee!!

Hi Beltxo,
It appears from other threads that Voda don't release updates via SEUS any longer, check the Voda P990 thread and you will see why.

Voda has released an update trough SEUS for v630i... I have friends that have updated it to R1ED001_vodafone. So that isn't the problem. There is some kind of problem with SEUS itself or my connection o my cable or my cell or whatever.

Both of my PCs are AMD based, and I've been told that SEUS doesn't work right with these processors.

Any info about this?

hi Beltxo, i believe we have the same dilemma...i'm currently updating my phone thru SEUS right now and i think i'm stuck with the 'Please wait, downloading phone software' page...it's been there for almost 30 minutes and i guess that's a hell lot of time for downloading a piece of firmware since i'm on a broadband connection... for those who have successfully updated their phone, how long does it usually take to download the update? thanks in advance!
