i tried to delete the notification.mid sound file...but its of no use.some beep sound is getting instead...can anyone solve the problem...?

Errrrmmm... can I assume that you still want a delivery report? If not, switch it off. I don't see why the notifictaion sound is bothering you.

Even if you switch off the notification sound, it'll still interrupt the music for a brief moment. There are people in other countries who have so little, and here we are complaining about a "beep beep" we sometimes get whilst listening to our MP3's on our state of the art mobile phones(!)

Learn to live with it.
