Apple’s new iPod shuffle, the world’s smallest digital music player, will be available in Apple’s retail stores and Apple Authorised Resellers this Friday, November 3. Nearly half the size of the original, the new iPod shuffle is just half a cubic inch in volume, weighs just half an ounce and features a minimal aluminium design with a built-in clip, making it the most wearable iPod ever. The new iPod shuffle contains one gigabyte of flash memory which holds up to 240 songs, and is priced at just £55.

You clip it into a dock which is also included with the price.

From Apple:

"Stop, dock, and sync

iPod shuffle comes with its very own dock that you connect to your Mac or PC via USB. Then, whenever you feel the need for a quick sync, just drop iPod shuffle into the dock and iTunes gets to work."
