> Lock keypad/screen with flip off
Bookmark topic
I've just taken my flip off to see what life is like "naked" (partly pushed into this by the arrival of an ill-fitting Noreve case) and notice that the keypad/screen which previously locked after xx seconds now remains on indefinitely unless I manually slide the lock hard button. Is there a way of getting the lock to switch on automatically as it did with the flip on?

did you enable "automatic keylock" ?
Tools > control panel > locks > Automatic Keylock

You need to go to control panel, device and then screen saver! then check automatic input lock and set it for however many minutes you want it to wait before it locks your buttons.

Thanks guys, but what a stupid place to put the option! Anyway, why shouldn't the Automatic Keylock option work regardless of whether the flip is on or off?? Yet another work around and the sad thing is I've got a Voda branded phone so can't even look forward to the next firmware update like the rest of you. I tell myself that's the price of getting the phone FOC but it's still frustrating!

Can anyone tell me how to get the auto keylock off.
It may sound like a stupid question and I guess it is.
I've looked in all the relevant places and the auto keylock bit of my p990 is uncheck, but still it auto locks itself.
It doesn't matter normally but as I have sat nav on my phone, the maps wont update itself if the keypad is locked and the screen has gone black.
Any ideas folks?
