I have just tried to update my P990 with the SE Update Service software, but whenever i try and run it it just says i have the wrong version of macromedia on my pc and to go to the macromedia site, can anyone help me??.... Please......

and then download the newest flash player. You should do this using IE, and if it still dun work , do the same with wat other browser u use as well...

mate do have a windowblinds installed on your computer??? If yes that caused the problem. I also encountered a problem with this update service software but after uninstalling it then reboot it now works. I hope it works..

Thanks... I've already done that, on both IE and Firefox. And i still get the same message. It's now telling access is denied when i try and send apps. Think i'll reinstall the whole suit...... any other ideas??

Thanks for your help. Having said that it's not letting me connect at all now the the suit, but will still connect through an independant bluetooth connection. :S

Mate if you have a friend with computer,try install the update software in his computer then after you install it copy it to your usb drive.Here is the location of the folder>>>c:/program files/sony ericsson/update service. It has a 90.5MB

Kinda sorted it now, I just downloaded it and did it at work...
New problem now though, I cant seem to install apps through the PC Suit now, i could do in the begining, but not anymore, it just comes up with ACCESS DENIED. I have to send them via bluetooth and install them on the phone. Any ideas why this might be happening
