Hi Guys

I bought a P990 today from Sony Centre (i'm in UK BTW) and when I turn on the phone, Vodafone logo appear (as if i'm lock to Vodafone) but that phone is Sim Free. How is that happening? Ask the seller and he say that is normal....?

Can someone confirm to me if Vodafone is already on the P990 even though is SIM FREE and the Vodafone will be delete automatically if I download and install a newer version of the OS?

Thanks Bud! Maybe pick the wrong one! I'm so gutted now!!

But.....I'm using O2 and when I put in my O2 sim card, is ok.

Thats weird! if it says Voda locked and O2 works!!
Maybe its an unlocked voda P990i?

Anyway I got refund today!!! YEAY!!!

Never buy anything from Sony Centre (mine in Leamington Spa) bcoz is like trying a kill a bull to get a refund.........

Will get mine from Expansys UK Sony Ericsson P990i Value Pack SO MUCH MORE CHEAPER and I think that is unbrand P990i. Get more stuff too like 1 Gb memory stick, car charger and screen protector.
