Sony is more expensive. Sandisk is cheaper and does the same job.
I have used both makes and both worked fine.

i heard that the Sandisk cards are unreliable, and dont last long, even though they transfer files faster

I've tried a 512-MB M2 on my K800 then . . . it performs well. Sandisk branded cards are a rare find at my end . . . and a BIT expensive too if ever you'll find one

guess it depends where you buy them from?

Its a matter of choice but both will do the same job for you

Maybe the reason why Sandisk is a BIT expensive at my end compared with Sony's is because a number of CLASS 1 (A) Sony cards are being sold at my end and I was just a victim of buying one myself

One must be careful when buying Memory cards, a lot of fake ones are around nowadays so you must be well aware of what you are buying.

@peter - Yeah mate . . . as the price of the replacement ones is about 1/2 or even 1/3 of the original ones . . . that's why many are tempted. Also, you can limitly hear problems bein' encountered by thos who bought the fake ones . . . perhaps only 2 in every 25 cards sold, and they are ALSO warrantied like the original-5 years, fakes-1 to 2 years . . .
