I just got my K800i last week. I assign personalised ringtone to one of my contact. But the problem is, it still ring with the outside ringtone that i assigned (all in mp3 format). Previously i used the K700i, didn't have this problem.

My current firmware is CXC1250214 R1ED001 060831 Sony Ericsson. So may i know if there is a bug in current software? Or anybody faced this problem also?

service centre bout 10 days ago,what country are you in?? i have no probs since the fw upgrade, all it did for me was kill all the dramas i was havin

I'm form Malaysia. When i check >* Software Info. I think this is the latest version for K800i (China).

hi all, i using W850i which i bought it 2 months ago, i just noticed the same problem on assigning ringtone to contacts, the first few contacts no problem but eventually when i started to assigned more, it doesn't work. I am very frustrated with this issue.

Is there a limitation on assigning ringtone?
Have anyone check with SE Service Centre?
