Does it really work with any song you get from the radio? I have no W850/W950 and wonder to know..

Yes - really works - i was listening to solid music radio station with no DJ announcing music titles. Tried trackID and a few secs later - hey presto song and artist.

I read somewhere that it will fetch info on music recorded with the phones microphone - ie, say if you were in a cafe and recorded the music playing from the radio.
Is that not true?

When you're listening to the radio and you hear a song you like but you don't know what it's called, ask TrackID™. Record a few seconds of the song and use TrackID™ to send the music for recognition. In seconds, you'll have the name, artist and album in your phone.
never tried it myself yet though

Worked fine when I tried it out in Philippines (with my new W950i). Haven't actually tried it since getting back to London (been using my HBH-DS970 all the time).
I didn't even realise it was on the W850i! lol

Thats what I was talking about!
Thats an amazing feature. I told a friend about it and she went mad for it
as she is really into her dance tunes which appear on mix cds..
I hope this feature appears on most
phones from now on.
