Not for the first time ive dropped another smartphone ...it was a very violent drop which saw pen flung out and go in an altogther diff direction on the road.Picked up the phone expecting the very worst,but apart from very tiny dents on the edge of the phone it came off very well as its predecessors have done -p900 and moto a1000.I would say a big hands up to the manufacterers for giving us careless guys solid handsets

my friend has dropped his many times, once, the memory card flew out of the phone, which is kinda odd, as its got the little cover piece.

I've never dropped my p910i and I can imagine how you must have felt. Good thing nothing happened to your p990. Says something bout the built quality.

well since ive only had it for a couple of days i was pretty angry at myself for being soooo careless im still getting over it seeing ...having carried out a few tests on the phone...everything seems to be working fine

i dropped mine the day after i got it, i had it on the table by the computer, and i moved the chair back to get a notebook. i still had the headset on, so the phone wents straight onto the floor. not even a scratch
