Just out of interest....

I have a paypal account with my bank account used as my primary source and credit card used as back up

What would happen if i bought something with paypal for £500, and the £500 is meant to come out of my primary source, my bank account. But my bank account only has £400 in, would the payment take £400 from my bank account and the rest from my credit card or would it just take it all from my credit card?

Thanks

I suspect it'd take you over your overdraft limit... though if it was refused, i would have thought it would come from the secondary source, never had to find that out!

You can select 'alternative payment options' when you pay for something via paypal also and for that payment select your credit card if you preferred that option
