Now i'm not the most techy person around but i now have this working.
Is the album cover meant to show so small on the screen though ?.

Ok this is how i do it using Photoshop and Abander Tag Control
1. Change front cover image size to approx 200 x 200 and save in album folder , i named it Album Art.
2. In Tag Control select the folder containg the album , it will then list the tracks.
3. Highlight first track and open Advanced Tag Editor
4. On the right hand side under Picture click Add open your saved Album Art pic then click Save And Next.
5. Carry on doing this till all tracks are done, i then copied and pasted into my phones memory card.

I've done half a dozen albums 100% successfully.
As i say i'm not the most gifted techy type but this works for me the only thing i wonder , is there any way to make the album art show bigger on the phone screen ?

*Edit* just sent a tagged track (done as above) via bluetooth and it shows

Hi forzahibs
Well done for sorting it out but to be honest that's just too much like hard work to see album art for a couple of seconds hardly seems worth the effort IMO. Especially as you say it is only a small picture any way unless of course you are going to sit there staring at your the screen for ages.

All you're doing is adding the image to the mp3 file.

I don't see why album art doesn't work like in WMP.

Got a link to that program?

Isn't that as easy as placing an image (in any name) in a folder album to get Album Art works in the phone? (Regardless the way you get the Album Art in your computer).

That's too much work IMHO for assigning ArtWork one by one song.

I also have the album art working by using itunes 7 (the current edition)...here's how I did it.

We first have to find the image of the album cover. Once I have it, I save the image as a .jpeg...I repeat, JPEG. It DID NOT work when I saved the file as a .jpg . Also, the image must be relatively square...within 1 or 2 pixels (e.g.- 200x200, 200x201, 200x202). If it exceeds that parameter, the art will not display on the w850. I put a jpeg in that was 200x205, and it DID NOT display. About the size: i've heard that the cover image can be up to 500x500 pixels, but the highest I have tried is about 450x450, and it worked.

Now, Let's tag the song with the image. First, clear all other album art itunes has tagged with the song (right click on song, click 'Get Info', go to the 'Artwork' tab, and select/delete any images. Be sure to press 'ok' after deleting the artwork.) We're going to use a drag and drop method of tagging the song with the artwork. To do so, we must -make sure option to display the artwork of the song that is currently playing is enabled on itunes, which can be done by pressing Ctrl-G. Now play the song. Since you've deleted the song's artwork, or since it didn't have any in the first place, the box at the bottom left of the window says "Drag Album Artwork Here." Go to the image file, and drag and drop it into the designated space. Having done so, we now must convert the ID3 tags. Multiple versions will work, but with the w850, I have had luck with v 2.2. So right click on the song, select 'Convert ID3 Tags...' and select 'v2.2' from the drop down box, press 'ok', and you're done.

I'm not sure if it matters how you add the song to the memory card, I just dragged the song from my itunes library into Disc2Phone and transferred it.

I've not been reading, but maybe in WMP11, it may work. WMP11 is more focused on album art, so it may work better than WMP10.
