What is with some people on these boards? This used to be a nice place with pleasant people but after lots of us were scammed recently then, on a couple of occasions, giving people useful advice and then getting slagged off in PM's for your trouble, I really wonder why I, and others, bother?
Why can't people take well intentioned advice? And even worse, they then block your PM's so you can't defend yourself! Been with Esato for nearly three years now and feel weary of it all.....

mate i seriously have no idea who your talking about but im sure its a small minority... Within communities such as esato the will always be a minority of trouble makers or scammers... you cant avoid it, the only thing we can do is make it clear we will expose these people... Hopefully that will stop people scamming and being a general pain in the butt!

I haven't had any problems with people slagging me off via PM for giving advice, though it can be a bit annoying when they don't at least post a 'thanks, that worked great' or even 'that didn't work but ta anyway' in their thread or in a PM!

Looks like manners have been left behind in the 20th century, seems like rudeness and lack of consideration from an increasingly vocal minority is the trendy way of the 21st

Agree Sammy. It only takes a minute to say thanks and means an awful lot to those that spent their time in helping.. We all learn that way as well. I have learnt so much on these, and oher boards, it makes you wonder how we managed before the internet came along! Trial and error and plenty of those, I can tell you from experience!
