I want to learn how to create themes. I d/l-ed the 'manual' for theme creator and i d/l'ed the theme creator for SE, but I have no idea where to start. The manual seems to be intended for people who know what they're doing. is there a dumbed down version for noobs?

Your best bet is to load up an existing theme into Theme Creator. Also take a copy of the .utz file, change the ending to .zip and then open it in Windows. You can then see the various files involed (lots and lots believe me). Work your way through the existing theme in TC, checking the files as you go along. You'll then get a rough idea of what you need to do.

yeah...i took a brief look before. lots of files. too bad there's no 'wizard' for dolts like me. heehee
