Can't get either to work. Would like to be able to text from my PC mainly but I like the battery indicator too.

Any alternatives or workaround? I am using USB only at the moment.

Will consider Bluetooth if absolutely necessary.

Thanks.

Ask your network provider.

I'm with VodafoneNZ and they have a service called Web2txt which allows text to be sent from your PC.

I use Microsoft SMS Sender. Works pretty fast and smooth although I am yet to figure out how to import my Phone Book into the application from my P990i.

Find it at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=06a4f997-7f69-4891-8929-37b9041924a2&DisplayLang=en

I'm already using Vodafone text centre but you have to read your inbox on your phone.

Any other software out there?

Cheers.

fma still not support symbian phones. why don't you try mobiledit or mobtime cellphone manager. those 2 application are supporting p910, but i'm not sure about p990
