> How to play videos on P990 ?
Bookmark topic
Could anybody tell me how to play videos on the P990 ? I suppose they need to be downloaded from the PC . What format will the phone take ? Do they need to be ripped from a DVD onto the PC first ? Can anybody give some examples which I can download from the web in order to get some experience with how it works ?
Thanks

P990i supports many video formats, mainly MP4 and 3GP. These videos are widely available on the internet. If you want to convert your own videos then software is also available on the net like Mpegable, Super etc, just type in MP4/3GP converter in Google.
Hope that helps!

i convert dvd/videos to ipod format using the PQ dvd converter, originally for my ipod but it also works well for the M600, great and fast quality the sound is even in sync!... assume it would be the same for the P990? It's worth a try. I use the same settings as for Ipod so i can transfer files betwwen ipod and M600. The good thing is you can play the dvd fast forward etc until you reach a point were you want to start to rip and then stop it when you like. Although with the trial version you can only rip up to 5-7 mins, which i find great for short clips, music videos etc, there are no markings on the output file either so it's clean.. At the moment I still use the trial version, as 5-7 min clips is fine for me. As good as the quality is i'm not sure if i could watch say a 1 hour movie on a small screen anyway. The full version i think is $35
Free trial you can get.. type in google 'pq dvd' or heres a link
