I am on Ntl, have a broadband account and on Orange as a phone provider. I am getting SMS messages with the heading 5853 and Email alert all day and night to tell me I have received an email on my home Ntl account. I want to stop these.
Orange - nothing to do with us unless they are from your Orange email account. Ntl (India CS) - nothing showing on your account but don't worry, they will be free. This was in reply to my question about whether I am being charged for these as they are not only a pain in the whotsit but might be doubling my bill.
Anyone any experience of this please and how I can stop them? And yes, I know I can turn the phone off!!
