I'll try "a kind of translation" from this literal spanglish (you have to translate every word into spanish and then read it to make it get sense ):

"How could I get the SMS alert tone to sound louder? It is way too quiet... What can I do? Do I have to update software?"

That is, the eternal question! I don't know why, but I feel that replying him about using the search won't solve his problem!

Sorry for writing in spanish, I hope noone gets disturbed...

@petawer:
¡Hola! El problema del sonido con poco volumen en los mensajes ya ha sido discutido muchas veces en estos foros. Actualmente no hay ninguna solución (bueno, dicen que actualizando el "software" del móvil a las últimas versiones hace que se oiga un poquito más alto), aunque se rumorea que el mes que viene sacarán una actualización que por fin permitirá personalizar el tono con cualquier melodía... pero son rumores Si necesitas más ayuda, apúntate a los foros de http://www.gsmspain.com , allí no tendrás problemas con el idioma.
