> p990 US T-mobile Net plan
Bookmark topic
Hi this question is for those using t-mobile on their phone here in the states.
Which Internet plan do you use?
Are you using the T-Mobile Total Internet $29.99 a month plan?
I was wondering if anyone has tried the $5.99 add on plan (supposed to be restricted wap sites), does it work on our devices for all sites or email accts?
Bottom line im trying to find the cheapest way to keep my p990 on the net.
If you can let me know how you guys conntect that would be great.
Thanks!

I use the blackberry plan i think its 19.99. It doesnt matter if you have a blackberry or not it gives you total internet.

I use the blackberry plan as well. But before I had blackberry I used t-mobile total internet and then switched to t-zones. I haven't noticed a difference in speed or restrictions for t-zones and it saved me alot of money.

I am using the unlimited vpn/data plan for $19.95 a month. But this plan is not offered for new customers anymore. I am a P900 user

I think T-zone plan (5.99) is good enough. Java programs (Google maps and Opera Mini) can access the net with it. IM+ is not working thou.

Yes, the $5.99 T-Zones plan works great. I have a P990 with the grandfathered $2.99 T-Zones plan from many years ago, and can access everything just fine (although a little slow). Like ttsng says, the built in Opera browser, Opera Mini, Google Maps, and e-mail functionality all work perfectly, but IM+ does not, but I imagine there would be a similar problem with any internet plan.
You can always try the T-Zones to start with, and if you feel that you are missing any functions, then upgrade to a more expensive plan. I am completely satisfied, however, with my $2.99 T-Zones plan. Hope this helps.

The $5.99 plan works, but has port restrictions. I believe the least expensive without such restictions is to use a blackberry plan. Everything seems to operate with my blackberry plan (including activesync push and IM+)
