ok guys heres whats up.

I have 2 pc's and 1 laptop

PC 1 is the main PC. The internet and the printer are connected directly to this pc using wires. We have ntl broadband and a linksys wireless router.

PC 2 and the laptop are both wireless enabled and both currently have wireless internet access via the linksys router.

I want to set up a network where When i send a document to print from the laptop or PC 2 it prints via the printer connected to PC 1.

I also want to be able to access files from PC 1 and PC 2 on the laptop.

All the computers are running windows xp home SP2

I have read countless amounts of guides and done a search on this forum but it just confusses me. Can some one help me with a step by step guide to get networked.

Thanks.

I also have problems with my 2-PC-network, it's driving me crazy. I consider myself an experienced user, yet i've ran out of ideas. I use regular ethernet connection, PC1 has XP Pro, the 2nd one is WinME. Is there any detailed configurations i may have missed? Thanks in advance..

I booted to Win98 on PC1 (has XP as default OS), set my network up on this one, and now it works like a charm! All Hail Good ol' Win98!
