> HCH-67 Car Holder for M600

I have just fitted the car holder HCH-67 and use an after market charger with it. Having the phone at eye level is much better than on my belt as it improved signal strength and allows you to use Wayfinder for sat nav without having the phone rolling around the car.
I have a question though, in the device settings for backlight, there is a setting for car holder, I have this set to on, but the backlight still goes off. Has anyone else gotten this to work?
BTW I am using a Parrot BT handsfree kit.

When using wayfinder you can set the backlight to always on whilst navigating.. then it turns off when you reach your destination. for other apps i'm not sure.... i'd agree with jcwhite.. a wired kit is the solution.
As a matter of interest.. how do you find wayfinder with parrot and M600? what parrot kit have you, does it have the GPS built in
I have parrot 3300 kit and i used wayfinder with p910 for a year or so, was great, now i have the m600 and i had so many issues using the same with M600, so i ditched wayfinder and now/will be using soon tom tom instead.
I have a universal holder nothing fancy it just holds the phone where i need it, no charging etc.

I have sorted the issue wit the light on, someone tipped me off on the my-symbian forum.
" set "handheld" to on and enable power save at 1 or 2 minutes and then if it is on charge the backlight will be on all the time"
Also having wayfinder set to light on at night is way too bright, only use this setting in daylight otherwise it distracts your eyes when driving.
