> Upgrade from K700i?

I've had my K700i for a couple of years and I'm planning on changing it, but I don't know whether to go with a k750i, k800i or w810i. I like my current phone so I'm thinking of sticking with Sony Ericsson but since my current phone isn't without its issues, I wondered if you could give me some advice on these things with regard to the phones above:
1 - Battery life. Its terrible on my k700i, if I leave it on charge overnight its pretty much dead by lunchtime.
2 - Joystick - doesn't like moving down or left for some reason, has that improved?
3 - Memory - I've got used to having a fair amount of pictures and themes on this phone so I want quite a bit on the new one
4 - Message tone - sounds petty but having to choose between the 6 default ones is irritating. Can I choose my own?
Thanks for your help.

I would go with the k800i
1. My battery easilt lasts 3 days with heavy use.
2. I think SE have improved the joystick to help stop this.
3. With 60mb internal and the option of internal memory it has loads more than your k700i.
4. You can change the message tone to one of your choice.
The camera is also 100 times better, it has 3g for video calling and faster web access and setreo bluetooth.

ho on K750/W700/W800/W810 just because K800 its not worth money u would pay.camera is the same on k750 just captures in higher resolution but you could get the same after resizing original pic from k750 highest res to k800 highest res, just K800has real xenon flash and 3G.Multitasking in K800 is worst than in K750(unles there will be recent patch for it) battery with K750 will last for 5 days for heavy user for light one will be for 7 days.up to your self. I own now 2 of K750 - i love these phones, ive personaly had K800 ive returned to O2, just because its wasnt worth to upgrade to it from K750...unless if u want to go on realy good phone like walkman one - go on W950-wait till end of december - ill be getting one(and have K750 with ya for pictrurin use)
respect!

Go for W810 : no joystick, music in your hand, great walkman player.
I don't like the look of K800 even though it has great camera features. I'm not a camera phone oriented, 2MP is enough.
As for K750, hmmm... W810 has all of its features except cover lens.

The thing thats putting me off a K800i is that (I may be wrong) it seems bigger than my k700i, and I'll have it in my pocket a lot. And if the joystick ends up being as useless as this one is, thats a lot of money down the drain. An mp3 player probably isn't a priority which is making me lean towards one of the others, but theres no joystick on a w810i.
Seems like all three are better in terms of battery life though which is comforting =)

Hi Ruth and Welcome to Esato.
To tell you the truth I haven't heard many people complain about the size of the K800i - although there have been some murmurings regarding the lens cover, which protrudes a bit however, I think most people get used to it. If you like the smaller size of the K700 then I would go for the K750 / W810i.
It has a capable camera and the

player of the W810i is just an enhanced MP3 player. The memory is good an expandable too.
Edit: Although the Silver K800i is very nice
