The show will be available for Orange, 3 Hutch, O2 and T-Mobile 2.5G and 3G customers in the UK and is also available for download on video iPod.

Following a TV approach, the 3 minute mobishow will run in a series format hosted by leading TV presenter, Mark Durden-Smith; incorporating ‘hot off the press’ updates where Michael Vaughan gives his appraisal on the tour including player comparisons and looks back at how the Ashes was won in 2005. In addition, reports from a roving reporter down under will provide views from local fans.

Most importantly, cricket fans will have the chance to interact with the show, sharing views of recent matches, players’ performance and expectations by sending in video, picture and text contributions. Furthermore, questions sent via mobile video will have the chance of being answered personally by England Captain, Freddie Flintoff.

“‘Ashes Down Under’ will give fans a fast paced, interactive weekly insight to the action and life on tour in Australia, and has been created to exploit the audio and video capabilities of mobile technology," comments Pete Russell, managing director at Player One. “We believe that it has all the ingredients to create a forum for fans and sporting personalities to interact in the same show, fulfilling their desire to be part of the action and ultimately developing a mobile community for cricket fans." www.twofourmobile.co.uk
