Hi all,

With the release of the updated VF FW for the p990i, has anybody heard any news or even rumours about one for the M600i?

I love this phone. Nice and sleek. Great functionality and fits in my pocket much easier than my p910i....!! However, there are some issues and it would be great if VF would sort them.

So any news would be most welcome...

Thanks to you all!!
Cheers

PS I should mention I have searched the forums, and just tried SEUS to update. It just says my phone has the latest already.

Well I'm sure that you can find much better reviews and posts about the phone with a search on here. But I really like the phone. Voice calls seem to be pretty good, although in areas of low signal it does not seem too great.

For me battery life is about 2/3 days with a few short calls (less than 20 mins each) and small Internet usage. More than this and it can be as little as 24 hours. I consider this fine.

As for bug-free. I'm on Vodafone UK firmware. AFAICG this is a few versions behind the latest SE one.

Cheers

I've had my M600i since Monday on Voda UK, and I'm extremely happy with my phone thus far. Only had one or two application crashes, but the phone itself has been running beautifully. Battery life is very similar to my P910i, that lasts 2.5 days when not playing too much, but can go down to 1 day when seriously playing.

Call quality is good, but reception seems to be a bit on the low side - dunno if it's a network thing, or a phone. Can't test, as my phone is not unlocked yet. I simply LOVE the screen. The P910i screen looks like Win3.1 vs. Win XP.

I absolutely love the predictive text, the keyboard and key tactility. Tapping away on emails is effortless, it even learning my frequently used Afrikaans words! Kewl!

Annoyances include the lack of softkeys, slow data transfer through the PC USB cable, and sometimes slow interface. But these are small things, and hardly anything that irritates me.
