> w850i - problems with my 4gb card

I have a high speed 4gb pro duo card from sony for my w850i.
However when I load the card in my w850i (after putting files on it) it will delete the files down to around 560mb.
It is my w850i doing this and not my computer.
Any reason? (there is 800mb on my 1gb card and that's fine)

hi. got a 4Gb card as well but havent noticed this happening. Have put a full 4gb worth of music with no probs. what make/model is the memory card. did you buy from ebay? possible fake maybe or something wrong with the phone. strange it would delete files.

You may have a fake card, this happens when a card is fake. Had two fake 2GBs and this happened.

@A - Before returning the card . . . maybe you can utilize the card's FULL usage . . . try formatting it in your W850i prior to putting files on it. Good Luck !

My w850i can't format it (corrupts it so I have to get a friend with a w810 (i think) to format it).
I checked the ebay link and its def a fake.

@A - If you have a memory card reader, you can fix (though not 100%) the problem of your memory card dude . . . check on the cards properties, then hit tools . . . then check on the two boxes on the page . .. it will scan for viruses/problems or what . . .
