Today i went on internet explorer and i noticed that my home page had been changed, now normally i don't get too worked up about it but i tried to change it back to my original home page but it just wouldn't change.
I asked someone about it and they said it was one of those websites that gave you viruses and would automatically set itself as your home page, i don't have a clue how to get rid of it. any ideas?

This should solve your problem:
!!REMEMBER TO BACK-UP your REGISTRY FIRST!!
To unlock the Homepage setting, follow these steps:
1. Quit all instances of Internet Explorer
2. Open Regedit.exe, navigate to this branch:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Policies\\Microsoft\\Internet Explorer\\
Control Panel]
3. Delete the "HomePage" DWORD value.
4. Close Registry Editor, restart IE.
Hope this helps..

What does this new homepage link to? And did you run a spyware scan?

Norton usually does that sometimes, there was a function in norton to turn it off though, it might be that.

You can fix this problem by downloading System Mechanic Professional 6.0 and turn on the System Guard Alerter which includes protection for changing your home page too.
