> problem updating P990 via SEUS

I did a rough search and cannot seem to find solution to my problem, so I am posting it here.
After downloading the software using SEUS, while transfering/installing the software onto my phone from my pc, SEUS would restart to the home page (ie. two options: start or exit). I tried it two more times and same thing.
FW:
phone: CXC162037 R7A001
bluetooth: CXC162058 R4F01
organizer: CXC162090 R2A05
CDA: CDA162007/6 R2A04
phone is a Hong Kong version P990i with chinese languages. And I am trying to updating with English (US) languages selected (don't know if that is the problem, but I want english version for the missing english T9 in flip-closed mode)
anyone having the same problem? or any solution?
