My jaw dropped to say the least, I know people back in London that cant even get past 512Kbps download and this hotel room I am in has a woooping 9Mbps upload download is ok I currently get that in the UK anyway so nothing to report there.

Oh and I ran the test several times to make sure its not a spike and its consistent..torrent heavan if you into that scene.

do you mean kbps or kB/s? i always get 1mB/s in torrents, and i have 8mbit internet.

Sorry a bit of confusion what I was trying to say is that the upload speed in Japan is amazing to be at 9000+kbps when in the UK we dont have fiber and the copper cables in some areas are so bad that the download forget about upload can only reach 512kbps..

Japan has a lot of fiber connections.

What program is that you are using on the screenshot to check the speeds.
