apaarently 3 has started to glue sim cards in to the phone so they cnt be removed. And other networks are soon to follow.
isnt this illegal?

Surely that can't be true, it would kill the market for secondhand phones stone dead, mean that you'd be stuck with the same handset for a year, and when you upgraded that otherwise fully working phone would be rendered totally and completely useless except as spare parts.

That rumour cannot be true, perhaps the odd sim card or certain payg maybe, but not across the board.

Any source or link to info on that at all?
