Bookmark topic
Hi-ya,
I got a Mitsubishi Trium 110 and want to change the Pin Code 2. I've have checked the manual but only seen a default code of 0000 and already tried that. I'm now on my final attempted before it gets blocked.
I dont want to risk getting another wrong code and end up blocking it resulting i needing a PUK2 code! So would it be better if i phoned the Mitsubishi Trium customer care to see if they can help?
Regards,

You have to call the customer service of your phone company, because pin-codes 1 and 2 are on your simcard and not on your phone.
Be careful, some networks don't give pin2 and puk2 to customers and when you block it, you don't block your phone, but your simcard.

The pin 2 code is for fixed dialling. So if u wont use this feature dont mess with it. If u do block it call ur network who should give u a code to unblock it.

@ 6230: I have read the manual again, but no sign of a Pin 2 code, only the Phone Lock Code that is 0000. Normally the pin2 is defaulted the same as the phone lock code but it seems it not in this case. I brought this phone second hand, but pervious owner has not used or changed the pin codes. The simcard is registered to me and i have used it in different handsets before.
@ Marly: Ok. I give my network provider a call as well. Ah i see. So the phone lock code is only handset dependant then?
@ fatreg: My network provider is T-Mobile.
@ wapchimp: Yes i know Pin2 is associated with fix-dailling and i do sometimes use it if i lend the phone for someone else to use.
Update: I gave the Mitsubishi a call and they also said the same as Marly, so need to give them a call which i do later.
