Does anyone know if it's bad for the battery's life to use the phone while it's recharging via car charger or desktop charger?

i think it is bad, some people are saying that it overloads some vba chip in the phone and leads you to have a "no network" problem after all, which is hw issue and rather hard to fix, so if its not too hard, just take a sec to unplug it when you talk... i guess it does not hurt to follow some security procedures....

maybe its bad because whenever you're using your cellphone, you're constantly draining it's battery. while you're charging, however, you're filling up your battery's drained energy reserves. so if you're both DRAINING _and_ CHARGING at the same time, it could be very detrimental to your battery's life. just a theory.

Not sure about T68, but in the manual for 7650, it says clear:
Please note that you can use the phone while charging.
