I've got a K608i and a generic Bluetooth USB dongle on my PC. I installed the BlueSoleil software that came with the dongle and paired the phone with the PC. No problems. I can access the phone from the PC (file transfer, HID, etc), but I can't access the PC from the phone.
On the phone, when I go to Settings>Bluetooth>My Devices and select the computer, it says "No compatible services" or something like that. I played around with the BlueSoleil software and re-paired the phone, and now the phone just says "Services supported: Object Push". And that's it.
I should be able to browse files on the computer and activate the Remote Control from my phone, but I can't. I've got it all enabled in BlueSoleil (eg. under 'File Sharing', I have my C: drive shared with 'Read & Write' access).
It used to work fine with my K700i, but the K608i doesn't seem to work...
Thanks.

i think youre not suppose to browse your pc's files. You can CONTROL many pc's apps from your mobile but cannot browse its files.

Browsing other bluetooth connected devices was supported by all models made before the K750i (not including the k750). All other models can, control devices, send/receive files and etc... except the posibility to browse other bluetooth device files.
Thanks

I have a T630 but can't browse my files on my PC, perhaps I don't know how to, but in FloAt's Mobile Agent, you can enable a script that will make a menu appear in your "accesories". There is a Menu item that says something like "browse files" and that doesn't depend on the model. So give it a try, although it's more complicated. Cheers

Ah, right then. That's a shame

It was a nice feature.
