Here are the things I noticed with R5d :
-sms tone and ringtone does sounds louder !!!!!!!!!
-vibra does feel stronger !!!!!!!!! (not sure why would software upgrade would make vibra stronger)
-menu and call list is a little bit faster althought not much noticeable
-I can now use the sony ericsson MMS home studio v1.10 to transfer MMS I made on PC to my phone (the program needs R5c or above on T68 for it to be working )
-its little quicker on swiching on and off the phone

I don't think that sms tone sounds louder or vibra is stronger or the menus are faster (maybe we wanna believe it).
OK about the mms home studio ( i can't use animated gif)
I think that all the changes was for mms. You can change colour fonts or background and you can send pictures from camera 640*480 to an email or mms.
Maybe some of you did it before but my previus version was R2B025
