I've been a P series fan since the 800 and would ideally like the P990.
However the most suitable tariff for my use... by a country mile... is T Mobiles Flex T with Web n Walk add on.
Unfortunately I can't get any sort of a deal which combines the phone with the tariff.
So, for the first time in a long while I'm considering other makes. Know little about them so here is what I need and I'm open to suggestions....
1/ Integral camera (1.3MP +)
2/ Decent size screen for browsing.
3/ MP3 player
4/ RDS radio
5/ Bluetooth 2 (for wireless headphones)
6/ Prefer MS Duo card, but have a card reader so I could manage with another spec.
So come on guys n gals...... whats out there

I'm afraid if you are looking at those tariffs its a no brainer the MDA Vario11 otherwise known as the Tytyn was offered to me @£79.99 on a £20pm Flext with £7.50pm Web N Walk tariff all these contracts are 18 months. If you spend more I'm sure its free.

@JoJo
The MDA's are T-Mobiles version of the XDA's and i think their TyTyn is better than the treo plus not sure T-Mobile even have it coming. unfortunately if you want to use Data without having to worry about a huge cost their is no competition for T-Mobile yet. I have 2 Sims one T-Mobile which for £27.50 gives me £34 pounds worth of calls or texts and unlimited browsing and E-mail with my phone. A vodafone Sim that gives me 200mins +250sms @£30pm and if i want to use Data its £2.35per mb i bet you can guess which i use just for voice calls. I have this Sim as it meant i got my N93 for £99.99 plus interest free payments of £30 pm for 12 months and all those minutes for a sim free unbranded phone.

cheers for that...
on T-Mobile there is the MDA Pro along with the Vario II.
Had a good look at the comparative specs and the only real difference I can find is Wi-Fi.
Have I missed anything ? (its all too easy when you looking at unfamiliar gear)
What made you suggest the Vario II as oppose to the MDA PRO ?
They both specify "bluetooth audio".... does this imply bluetooth 2, the ability to use wireless h/phones ?

@Kippax
You have missed one thing the PRO is a brick it's huge and is a much older design IMO the T-Mobile colour scheme looks really good on the TyTyn.

@Kippax
as long as you get a bug-free tytn (there were a lot of screen alignment probs at release, seems to be sorted now) I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I've used and loved the p's for years but was hacked off by waiting for the p990 and was worried about the amount of firmware complaints. If you think you won't mind having to use 2 hands for most uses, you'll love the awesome keyboard once you get used to it. The video and audio playback is excellent. I'm now fully converted from symbian to wm5. If I have any complaints about the tytn it's the 2MP camera - not sure if it's the same on the t-mobile version but with my orange spv M3100 version the default settings are stupidly set and need changing with every reboot. With the amount of pics i take I thought this would really p me off but the other features more than make up for the inconvenience.
No 3rd party headphones available at the mo, this is a bitch.
No radio but I can get by this listening to 5live and other stations on the net using the mediaplayer.
Great result for City this weekend btw!
