When setting up my Wifi, I have a nine number WEP key and the thing asks for a 10 or 26 Hex number. Is it a Hex or whatever the other type of number I need? So therefore it won't accept the key. Any ideas please? I am having real problems with the net and trying to connect to my router. My Wifi connection has a locked padlock and a star against it so presume I need this WEP key.

setup the router for a 128 HEX WEP, and then you need to enter 26 numbers. This is my setup. You will be more secure this way as well.

Sorry, but that was only a problem because my key was a 10 figure number. It now connects but I get the message on trying to open a web page "Could not locate remote server" with the website name.
A pain.

that is because the default settings from your GPRS account setup. The
http:///home/device page is only available through GPRS connection, not through WLAN and that is what the brower is looking for.
What you can do is open the SE Start Page bookmark. After that the browser will open this local page instead.

Thank you for this. That home page loaded and on the top of it was google. I put esato in and it came up with the same error. Why is setting up this such a pain? Every other Wifi phone has worked out of the box? What is this one so different? I hate it!

Happy you solved it. Just to mention that 10 digits WEP key means 64 bit WEP in HEX. I used it and it works perfect. 128 bit is far more secure but then I have problems with connection.
