Is there an app which will allow you to type and send an SMS from your phone via your PC for UIQ3?

If your operator has support for web-based sms's this can be done. I have Telenor and if I login to their portal via the browser in p990 I am able to send up to 30 sms per month for free. If I do this with wifi it cost nothing. If I do it via GPRS/3G it's almost the same price (because of the expensive GPRS-costs in sweden) or more if I login and send one sms. If I send 2 sms or more It's cheaper since I only need to login once.

If you're using Outlook there's a plugin to use a bluetooth connection and send sms from outlook
Otherwise, you may look at FMA (not sure it will cope with SE Pxxx)
I'm surprised Sony doesn't have this feature in their software.

thanks for the info. Something nice and simple is all that's needed. there was a UIQ2.1 app that allowed you to access your Pxxx from your PC and type and send the SMS using the phones interface on screen. A port of that would be ideal but I cant remember the app name.
