I'm not sure if lt's just the p990 browser, but i have lots of problems with loosing focus when using handwriting. worst if I try and enter a URL. the history dropdown seems to get seleced, and I loose my part-entered text.
Other than this, I find the stylus easier to write with (maybe as i write left handed and holding the phone in my right hand)
