as title says, is disc 2 phone compatible with ma computers, and will normal usb transfers work with macs too?

Hi there, no Sony Ericcson do not make any software for MAC's, go to www.apple.com and download apple isync.

Yep, Apple are the only ones who offer support for connection with Sony Ericsson phones. They also provied all of the Software, Sony Ericsson makes nothing for connection with your MAC.

ok, well i dont have a mac computer, im selling my w850i on ebay and i was asked about if its compatible.

Does i sync come standard on apple computers? And what is it, just a program like disc 2 phone?

The W850 is Mac compatible using iSync 2.3:

and an iSync Phone Plugin from here:
http://mobile.feisar.com/phone_plugins_23.html

You can transfer files to and from the phone easily either by Bluetooth or pluging in the USB cable.
