Right my current digital camera (fuji A330) is just over3 years old, its still ok but it gobbles up batterys and is pretty bulky. I'm looking for a compact slim digital camera for around the £150 mark dont matter if a bit over or under.
I've made up a shortlist of possibilities but aint got a clue which to go for or there may be others i aint looked at.
They are....
Samsung Digimax i6
Fuji Z2
Sony DSC T10/W70/T5
Casio Exilim EX5600/EX-Z70
Olympus SP700
These are just ones i have seen on ebay that take my fancy.
Anyone got any suggestions then? It must be, small and slim, no less than 5mpx, have at least a 3xoptical zoom, and have a decent size screen 2" or above
Thanks in advance for any help, as i am just bamboozled what to choose.
Cheers

I have just bought the sony w70 i think it is excellent, i had a previous cybershot model(3.2mp cant remember model number)But the new models are much much better.
The 2.5inch screen is second to none and the softwear seems easier to use with the on screen options. The pictures are excellent as you would expect with a 7.2mp camera(cant upload any seems to have issues at present but would be happy to e-mail you some if this helps)
Lastly the size and shape is much better, my old one was one of the p series the new w series is a better size and weight
I love it!!

I've been pointed in the direction of anything made by Canon, and the Sony DSC T10, the W70 also looks very good.
If you could email some sample pics to
bowlby@gmail.com that would be much appreciated
Thanks
Anymore ideas?

I've owned two of the Canon Digital Ixus V series cameras, and found them both to be excelent in almost every way. I'm still using a 2.2mp Ixus now, despite the low resolution it still takes cracking photos!
Point being, Canon are pretty good in my opinion too

@scott - Forget the Casio Exilims in your list buddy . . . they have POOR flash

. . . resulting to BAD indoor/night shots . . . . my experience when getting a digicam (just one of those criterias): . . . is that I always see the size of the flash (rectangle/square shaped . . .) if it's kinda small . . . NO way will I be gettin' that. Well anyways, my choices will be the ff brands: Canon. Nikon and Olympus . . . how many MPs are you planning to get dude? The Canon S3IS is a nice get . . . just hate the color - black . . . much better with it's predecessor - S2IS (grey) . . .
Good Luck!
Masseur gave me a NICE Link when looking for a Digicam:
