Hi! I'm soon getting a P990i for my main line. But I need two backup phones. I need to know which low-end SE phones are most useful for text messaging. Hope to get answers to these questions:
Which ones are fast and easy to use for text messaging?
Do they enable "group send" of messages?
Last question: Do they also use the same charger as the P990i?
Your responses will help me decide what phones to get. Thanks!

From K750 onwards they use the the same charger as the p990. As K750 is the oldest/1st phone which does that ; K750!!! . K750 does allow group send of messages and with AutoMSG (a java app ; you can send msg's at a specified time ; but not to a group)

SE K310/320 has a great keypad... Fast and easy to write messages... Better than many high end SE phones except W850 ans Z610...

Well the older models have a different connector compared to recent models, so you must be well aware of this if you want it to be the same!

I really don't need a backup phone with a camera. Meanwhile, the K750i is still expensive here in Manila.

for me the K300 allows speedy texting and confortable too, although the connector is the old type. It does send to goups and is very cheap at the mo.

Has anyone tried the J-series phones?
Are they quick, easy and good for texting?
