> Problem with M2 memory Stick in K800i

Hi all - first post here so be gentle!
I have recently purchased a K800i and have taken some pictures with its impressive camera. In order to increase memory size i have now purchased a 512mb M2 memory stick and adapter in order to increase capacity on the phone and transfer information.
Now the M2 works perfectly fine in the phone and i am able to move files as i need to. The problem is with the memory stick adaptor in my Vaio. It should read the E drive as a removable disk but unfortunately it keeps wanting to format the disk and then states that the disk cannot be formated.
Is this a known problem with the M2 adapters or Vaio's? Is anyone else having similar problems and more importantly is there a solution!!
