Right i need abit of help here really.

I have a surround sound system which comprises of sub and 6 speakers the sub has the audio sockets on the back (red and white plugs) and obviously the clips for the audio wire.

My TV (Samsung) has 2 scart sockets and the audio and video sockets (red, white and yellow plugs).

All i want to be able to do is use my surround sound all the time instead of the TV speakers and then when i want to use my 360 also the surround will work for this instantly aswell. I just cant figure out how to wire it up, every way i try doesnt work.

Any advice please i really am stuck.

Thanks James

Ok correct me if I am wrong but I had a similar setup as you, the Xbox has a digital signal socket which is what I was using, but then I had a decoder for the 5.1 and then the speakers connected to that.

So does you 5.1 system not have a digital input?
