Does any one here on esato know exactly were I could insert my adsense code for it to show up as laffen has done?
I've gotten some at the bottom of my homepage
here but can't seem to get it on my forum
here.

You're asking for help but you want the person who helps you to sign up to your website. Free or not, not everybody likes throwing their email address all over the internet, particularly when there's nothing at all in it for them.
Better to private message members asking them for their email address so that you can mail the script to them directly
