I'm not on t-mobile, but I know that their data contracts (web 'n' walk (/web 'n' walk pro)) have a cap of 2gb (fair usage) and your not allowed to use p2p networks, streaming (video+audio) or voip (internet telephony) on the normal web 'n' walk. Not sure about web 'n' walk pro though.

Thankd for the info on t-mobile web and walk
i think you will find if you read the other post again, yes it does mention co-pilot in the name of the phone and the title of the post but it actually asks for feedback on the handset hence why it is in the "Other Manufactures" thread.
So Sorry cant actually see where the*posted same-ish question in two forums* point comes from

The only part of the sat nav that is usually chargeable is the internet connection for the traffic and travel updates-so to answer your question as long as you keep web n walk on your tariff, you won't be charged a penny! Hope this helps :)

I have co-pilot with my mda compact ii. It's a good navigation system much better than the tom tom (as I have tom tom installed as well). You will be charged if you use co-pilot live services such as live traffic or weather reports, which I don't think you need to use, so I say go for it!
