Who else agrees with me that if SE dont release some new phones soon they arent going to around very long, for instance look at the new Nokia 6100, 8910i & 7250 , all i can say is those phones are hot,
i know i aint going to be a SE customer for very long, When nokia has phones like them, and all SE has to offer is the T68i which is getting old now and the p800 which is a brick.

Who else agrees with me.

Woah! You can't say things like that around here!

SonyEricsson will last, but maybe not as one company, because there are so many die-hard SE fans.

Checkout the posts in the Lounge - there are people there who would never consider buying a Nokia, regardless of the features. They can't choose a phone on it's own merit, they have to choose one their mates think is acceptable (i'm joking!)

many of them available in Q1 2003! so if SE wants to strike they'd better use Magic

OK your loyal se customers but the truth is when SE dont bring out anything you will be forced to look else where, after all phones are really just a fashion statement, so i dont think you wanna be old fashioned.

That would still be quick compared to past performance!

The manufacturers announce their new lines way too soon, IMHO.
By the time the phone actually comes out people have got tired of waiting and gone for something that's actually available at the time.

Having said that, the longer I have my T68i (3 months or so now) the more I like it. The menus aren't great, and the "feel" of the thing is not what I really like, but the features!... when I got it no other phone had the same features in the same size package... That's how I choose a phone - features and size/weight

You've got a point there. I usually upgrade once a year and I have had my T68 for over a year. I am looking at all these new phones, thinking I want to get a new one. However the more I think about it, the more I realise that upgrading my mean a better screen etc., but overall I will lose functionality (such as Bluetooth) and gain a bigger heavier mobile.

I probably will upgrade, 'cause I like new toys, but there isn't a 'no-brainer' choice of phone like there was this time last year.
