theres always going to be divide in this world, greed and glutton will over power anything else.
the richer ger richer and the poor ger poorer, its a fact of life, you, me, we cant change that. dont mean for this to sound rude, but take for example aids in africa, its rife, we try and help, offer aid, offer contraception, offer avdice, yet it still happens day in day out, i think its fair to say that the 3rd world countires arent as well developed as we are, therefore dont have the intellectual ability to understand that sleeping with family/whoever is only going to make the problem worse.
i'm not saying we should turn ours backs on them, but i think we need to understand that for any kind of solution to work its needs to begin from them.
just my 2p and please dont go shooting off at me. i'm just expressing my mind in this free world we live in.

@fatreg, mate I respect your point of view, the rich people mostly have time to think only in themselfs and the people who matter to them. It's true this world is going chaos and not many know about it. Some people just don't want to know about it, prefer to keep on living the "happy" life their money gives them.
@Axxxr, why post something that makes people realise thing going on in other parts of the world, making some feel bad about it. That's quite some harm you do to some people, I think it's best if you give your opinion and a possible solution too, not just leave the message there for people to figure out "what now?"
I personally have gotten to sense a big empty hole in my insides, everytime I see this things, and I get frustated when I don't know what to do. I'm still young and find it easy to inmerse myself on thing like compuer games, cellphones, my studies; but it doesn't satisfy me at all.
Anyone here has got a solution? I myself have gone over to Jesus, and it works for me. Don't mean to start a religios thread; just, what works for you ??

I did'nt post this to make anyone feel bad,just to remind us that millions of people around the world are far less fortunate than us, and we should be gratefull for what we have..we constantly want more and more and don't wait to think about the people who don't even know where there next meal is going to come from.
I wish i had a solution,i don't..but if we,every one of us did as much as we could for charity then we can at least ressure ourselves in the fact that at least we are trying as much as we can to help.
from time to time we need to remind ourselves about what is going on in poor countries, as that will in turn make us appreciate what we have.

@Axxxr thanks 4 the quick reply. I too don't have a solution, one that could solve this inmediately is never going to exist, perhaps a miracle but not now. I hate it when most people are egocentric, I myself hate it when I'm like that ( although I like it too
). Have we forgotten our brothers who need us ?? Hey, could we start an esato campaign perhaps ?? Come on, we just can't be worrying about it, we gotta do something!! At least with the persons around us, there are many poor people on the street. Hey any ideas or opinions are welcome

There is a very simple solution to africas problem and that is for greedy rich nations to stop bleeding africa dry of all its money for its $200 billion debt! Africa pay out more money in debts than they get in. How is that allowed? Whats even more stupid is that i could go out and run up massive amounts of debts say 20,000 pounds and then declare myself bankrupt and it would be striken off because i cant affored to pay it back! crazy! Africa cant begin to develop as a country until its not in debt anymore! so why dont these rich nations drop the debt and stop all this suffering? this is something we can help and can fight.
the war on "terror" in iraq has cost to date over $378 billion! so why waste money on this war and not drop a debt half the size of the cost of this war, and improve the lifes of millions of people?
we had all these G8 meetings and nothing has become of it even though it was promised!
it makes me sick that in 2006 people are dying from hunger and disease from drinking dirty water. the world needs to stop and take a look at whats going on and take a stand for these people!
the world bank and the IMF have created a system of modern-day colonialism
to make the people in the developing world poorer,
and the multinational corporations richer,
and take the power away from all of us
it's time to take back control of our lives
and tear apart these monuments to greed
and build our new world from the broken pieces

Not every wealthy, rich or normal person is bad, in fact a minority. We should all do what we possibly can to help these people, yet we cannot destroy our lives to do so, materialism is generally not a bad thing. So that's why when people shove all this in our faces, frown upon us or say we are bad people, ask us why we don't give more, tell us that buying things is bad, try to change or alter our happy lives into misery so that we can donate every last penny really annoys me.
Bill Gates - richest person on earth, gives billions of £ a year to charities that aim to help people like this.

@xugaa your missing the point. no ones said that rich people are bad people and there is no reason for us to feel bad that we were born in such wealthy countrys. there is not alot we can do to stop what is happening but to put pressure on the imf and the world bank to drop this debt. its the greed of nations not people that live in them that is the problem.
